Prune Bread
2 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. butter (or shortening)
1 c. sugar
3/4 c. chopped cooked prunes
1/2 c. milk
1 c. chopped nuts
Preheat oven to 350.  Cream butter and sugar till fluffy.  Add eggs, one at a
time and beat well.  Fold in prunes.  Add sifted dry ingredients alternately
with milk.  Add nuts.  Bake in a well-greased loaf pan about 1 hour 15 minutes
or until done, when tested with straw or toothpick.
